Who is Andy Jenkins?
Plenty, if Andy Jenkins has anything to do with helping you out. His specialty is as an online store expert. If you have a website that sells stuff, but not enough of it, he can help.
Andy has a background in the film industry. In 1999, while working in film, he also started a venture of his own on the side. He drew on his interest in Medieval Weapons, Swords, and Armory to come up with an online portal to sell this type of unique merchandise. His site a2armory.com is loaded with these types of products including Civil War and Colonial and Old West items of this nature. He turned something he had an interest in into a flourishing internet enterprise. Enough so that it brought him more income than his full-time job. It was at that point that he knew that he had a bright future in internet marketing.
Andy took all he learned from the first venture of his and decided he would market his knowledge to others. He realized many internet operators had websites with uninspiring storefronts – storefronts people happened upon and quickly left. He now helps internet businesses with their ecommerce sites teaching them with proper eStore design. He also publishes eBooks as educational tools that people can use as tools to market their websites better.
Andy believes website owners who offer stores to sell their products need to have effective navigation structures on their pages. He shows them how to make their stores user-friendly so the shopping experience is pleasurable. He understands customers get frustrated with poorly designed and chaotic navigation and end up signing off before completing their transaction. He shows website owners that white space and contrast improve a sites ‘look’ making it visually appealing. Visually appealing websites keep visitors shopping which leads to more profits for website owners.
This knowledge and the way he teaches other to improve their sites have made him very successful financially. Andy has built many ecommerce businesses, some in partnership with Audrey Kerwood who also has a film background. They worked on projects such as “Killer Instinct”, Emmett’s Mark “,” Signs and others.
Andy is the co-creator of “Stomping the Search Engines”. In this educational resource, he interviews Brad Fallon. Brad applied his SEO expertise to Andy’s online commerce knowledge to build an ecommerce site that ended up with over 1, 100, 000 visitors in less than a year.
Andy says anyone can turn a passion or hobby into a profitable internet business if he or she applies the proper strategies. He now teaches businesses the strategies stored in his quiver since he began selling with online storefronts in 1999.
